HALF DAY HUE CITY TOUR

Option 1 (Citadel):

7:30 AM. Pick up then visit to Citadel (Kinh thanh) including Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh), and many more. Your visit will be ended at Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous structures in all Vietnam.

HUE DISCOVERY(full day)

From 1945 to 1975, the Benhai River served as demarcation line between North and South of Vietnam. The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) consisted of an five km to either side of the demarcation line. PHONG NHA CAVE & DMZ (Two days trip)

This would be incomparable trip in central part of the country. Phong Nha cave always considered as second most beautiful cave in the country. The mail tunnel of Phong Nha cave is 1451 metres in length and has 14 halls with great variety of stalactites and stalagmites. The Cham utilized the grottoes of Phong Nha Cave as Buddhist sanctuaries in the 9th and 10th centuries. The remain of Cham altars and inscriptions can still be seen.

Taking this tour, after two and half hours drive from Hue, You will arrive to Son River where the local driven boat take you up into Phong Nha cave. After impressive entrance, inside the boat will take you along the large river galleries for 700 metres where a large dry passage is found. You can walk along for around 500 metres amongst huge stalactites and stalagmites. The cave is so picturesqueness and unspoiled.
Stay one night in a simple guest house, in the next morning you will visit DMZ (Demilitary Zone) before returning to Hue.

DANANG (Full day trip)

Today, Danang is Vietnam’s third largest city, with population of around 1,000,000. Danang is slated to become the major economic center in central Vietnam. Go back in time, Danang was where the Sahuynh culture flourished during the Iron Age , over 3,000 years ago. The first inhabitants of the region were the ancestors of the Cham people. The Cham museum in Danang houses the world’s largest and finest collection of the Cham sculpture, with over 300 sandstone pieces exhibited in a building constructed in 1915 by the Ecole Francaise d’Extreme -Orient. Many of the sandstone carvings such as altars, lingars, garudas, ganeshas and images of Shiva, Brahma, and Vishnu are absolutely stunning. This museum is a place you can visit again and again.

DANANG AND HOI AN (Two days tour)

Hoian is an ancient port town, it was one of the Southeast Asia’s major international ports during the period between the 17th and 19th centuries. Today parts of Hoian look exactly as they did a century and a half ago. Hoian still preserves hundreds of houses built of precious wood in a very original style of architecture, either one or two storeys, in their complete wholeness. There is Japanese quarter linked with a Chinese neighbourhood by Japanese Covered Bridge, which was constructed in 1593 by the Japanese Community in Hoian. The Chinese community in Hoian is fond of many temples and Assembly Halls, which are worth to visit.

ANGKOR (cambodia) (Two days tour)

Cambodia is home to one of man’s greatest architectural achievement – the temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of Khmer empire from the 9th –12th century. Angkor Wat is one of the largest temple complexes in the world to dedicate the god of Vishnu (Hinduism). More influenced by Buddhism, Angkor Thom (Great City) is immense covering an area of four square miles. The city encloses several major temples including the Bayon (temple mountain) and Baphuon.

Taking a morning flight to arrive Siem Reap, you will begin exploration of the Angkor by visiting Angkor Thom. Next day will be time for visiting Angkor Wat till your departure.
