Dalat travel tips, how to travel Dalat

Easy Riders - Hard Time...
Here, like Phnom Phenh and other SE Asia locations, touts will stop you every few minutes to tour with them on their motorbikes. Some are Easy Riders and some are not. Be careful and just say 'No Thanks' to everyone until you are ready to plan a trip.

'Easy Riders' have been doing this a long time and have books of praise dating back up to 6 years. Ask to see it and check the dates!! They ride old motorcycles, NOT motos/mopeds/scooters/etc. One girl I was with made the mistake of 'promising' to go with a guy and ended up going with another one. These guys don't forget you, your name, where you stay, and will get upset. This guy appeared at the hotel angry... MY ADVISE: Commit to nothing until you are ready.

Just take it slow, be honest, and have fun. These guys are nice, they are just trying to earn a living...

Pineapple vendors

If you take a bus to Da Lat, there are pineapple vendors all over the roads. The bus driver will stop here and these vendors and their children will peddle you relentlessly. I am sure if you are craving pineapple, then your mouth will be satisfied. They charge exorbitant prices (for Vietnamese standards) though.

trung cang hotel
The "trung cang hotel" in Da Lat, which obviously belongs to the Sinh Cafe can not be recommended. Breakfast ist 3US$! for coffee and toast with eggs! And minbar is also too expensiv!
Look for another hotel in Da Lat!
